This is an 8-hour code class. You may attend for 2, 4, 6, or 8 hours. Lunch will be provided, but we cannot accommodate special dietary needs.
Course details
**If you attended our classes in Spring 2026, please choose a 'Fall Curriculum' class. Otherwise, you may take either class.** Registration opens 30 minutes before we begin. This session includes 8 hours of code review as required by the State of Minnesota. This is a state-approved course. Every class is open for master, journeymen, and registered unlicensed/apprentice plumbers, water conditioners, building officials, and residential contractors. This session covers Cleanouts/Venting, 326B, and Commercial Kitchen/Water Sizing. Learning outcomes include determining the correct placement for cleanouts, utilizing Table 707.1 correctly, defining relief and circuit venting, understanding and utilizing licensing requirements, identifying and understanding various fixtures in a commercial kitchen and their requirements, and sizing water systems using Chapter 6. You are encouraged to bring a code book with you, but materials needed for the day will be handed out in class.
